The Kooth website allows young people to gain anonymous access to advice, support and guidance on any issue that is affecting their wellbeing. The Kooth team have recently launched a new portal for resources 'Brandmaster'.

The Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CCAMHS) is a team of professionals who offer support and advice to aid mental health promotion and positive well-being.

Our service works with children and young people aged 0-18 who may be showing signs of behavioural difficulties and/or emotional distress. Difficulties we may be able to help with include :-

  • Worries/Anxieties
  • Low Mood
  • Controlling Anger
  • Bereavement/Loss
  • Bullying
  • Eating
  • Self-Harm
  • Relationship Problems

Community CAMHS aim to deal with such difficulties at the earliest possible stage of intervention in the hope that children and young people will develop skills and resilience to promote positive well-being, thus minimising the risk of further distress.

We have excellent links with schools, GP’s, health Visitors, school nurses and other specialist services. We also form part of a larger group of professionals who specialise in child and adolescent mental health.

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has opened a consultation on mental health and wellbeing in England. Take part in the consultation: Mental health and wellbeing plan: discussion paper and call for evidence
